Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Navarre is a vibrant, growing church. We had another awesome service last night. The Holy Ghost was in the house; if you missed it and didn't get something it was your own fault. Two messages were given - Bro Ben Palkowski and Pastor Kallam both delivered the word. You can hear this and other messages at our website ALC of Navarre. Video is also available from the Livestream link.

This and That
Sunday, August 26, 2012 is a day I'll remember for a long time. Bro. Brown came to preach for us. He titled Sunday mornings message "The Danger of Being Neutral" and Sunday night the title was "Have You Really Got What You Came For?" I think that these two were the messages that Abigail and Wendy; (two teenagers) needed to hear. Abigail was baptized and Wendy received the Holy Ghost. Think about the titles; they do go together to form one message.
The recording of the audio sountrack has been fixed. No more sounding like the speaker is in a barrel! The live video feed is not fixed but you can see the saved video at the Livestream.com site. Just below the live feed box is the saved video. I do apologize that I forgot to adjust the audio level on the latest video. Also, ALL audio recording to date have been uploaded to the web site and are available to listen to.

Awesome
You should have been here. July and August were absolutely awesome. Brothers, Brown, McEller and Sanchez have all visited us. These three were blessed us with the word of God. Listen to their messages from the main web site. Come visit us, you can get a blessing also.
Speaking of listening to the word from the website. Sometimes you wonder, "is the effort actually reaching anyone?" I did some math from the hosting site and was amazed. There may be some skeptics out there that say liars use numbers, and numbers lie - well since the word of God is no lie these numbers must be correct. The averabe number of "listens" turns out to be 129 per audio and there were 110 audio sermons on line. The math tells me that we potentally reached over 14,000 people - now that is awesome!!!!

Web Site Updates
The web site is finally getting updated. Today, there were 10 more audio files uploaded, however the site manager will take a few days to get them linked. If you are in a hurry, the audio is hosted at apostoliclive.com. You might have to do a search to find them. Regardless if you find ours or not, there are many, many great Apostolic audio and video files on this site.
There are quite a few holes in the audio files. There were many bad recording that appears to have been caused by a "record input" malfunction. The difficulty started back in mid May. We think that is now resolved; another computer was installed yesterday. Although it is an older machine, the audio input appears to be undamaged.
Lord bless you all, pray that the techincal difficulties are fixed.

Audio Recording
I have been almost frantically editing and uploading all the audio recordings. It is really a chore to do when your are trying to catch up. There is some bad news though.... I have discovered that many of the recordings have severe flaws, and it is a technical/mechanical problem that appears to have something to do with wiring and connections. It will get sorted out, but the affected recordings will not be placed on line.
With that in mind, all this seemed to have started around the same time as the "Great Computer Crash or 2012". Rest assured that Sherlock and I shall sleuth down this problem and provide justice. I just don't know when it will happen.

Back from Vacation
As many of you followers have noticed that there haven't been any updates in quite some time. That's because my wife and I took a trip around the United States. Driving from Florida to California, to Oregon, on to North Dakota and then back to Fl.
I can tell yo that Jesus is alive and well all throught these great United States. Although God is alive and well, the farther west we went, the harder it was to find a Apostolic, Pentecostal church. We saw many crosses and billboards but I think the best thing was the rolling billboard. Somewhere between Pierre, SD and Bloomington, MN this truck was parked at a rest stop: Whoever you are, keep on rollin' safely with God!
Before we left I did hook up the video camera for the live feed. I wanted to see firsthand what you all see. To say the least, I was not impressed. The video was so "jerky" and buffering so much that we couldn't even watch it. Now I know. A dedicated computer is in the future!
Apparently while we were away there was a power surge that may have caused the laptops usb connections to "fry". It may have been coincidental, but after that, the laptop didn't work right. I was able to salvage most all the audio recordings and am in the process of getting them uploaded, but three weeks of "backlog" takes time. Bare with me.

Live Video Problems
The expirment has ended, not in failure, but in enlightenment. I knew when we started that the computer may not be sufficient for the task, and after many frustrating broadcasts, we have pulled it down.. There were problems with buffering, dropped signals and other anomiliesso we disconnected. We are truely sorry for this inconvience. If anyone wants to donate to the cause, we will issue a receipt.
