Updates
Something important to the leadership and saints of ALC is the acquisition of a new building. There are two churches available in Navarre, one is empty and one has a dwindling congregation. Our preferred building has photos on this blog, scroll down and have a look, it is a beautiful building on a major highway. However as with many things, obtaining property usually takes money. Yes; it would be great if the likes of a rich benefactor would make a gift to the church; and the Lord can make that happen. While we pray for that miracle, we must also do our part - work had at fundraising! If you can help, please click on the GoFundMe link at the right and make your tax deductible donation. Thank You
The web site is getting a lot of updates. some were really needed, others were to fix recently discovered errors. The link to our Facebook page is fixed, the calendar is updated and individual pages are changing....
Audio sermons are getting uploaded to Apostolic Live, so you can listen to them at your convenience. In addition to access from a PC/MAC, some tablets are capable of playing the mp3 audio.
Videos - their fate is uncertain. They do get saved on the Live Stream site, but the audio portion of the service still plagues us with distortion, and the video is of low quality. Using a home type digital video camera works, but the time it takes to edit, produce and upload is lengthy (for me a 1 hour video takes anywhere between 4 and 6 hours work, try this with three services a week!).

Easter Service
Apologies to those who attempted to watch our Easter service. I think there were too many "iPads" in the pews or something. The video feed kept cutting in and out. Then the Livestream program locked up the computer......

Revival
Bro. Brown has been with us for a couple of weeks now. Come visit us at any of our services to see and hear this awesome evangelist; you will be inspired.
You can watch the service live (or after the fact); we broadcast and save all the video at the Livestream site. Just click on the link from the homepage. Audio files are stored at http://apostoliclive.com. Once on the site you will have to search for "Navarre" in "audio" and submit. That will take you to all the audio files we have stored. However, I must apologize for not getting all the audio files updated in a timely manner.

A Shout of Victory
Victory, victory, victory:
The Livestream broadcast of our services is far better than what it once was. We have upgraded our DSL to a faster service. The upload speed exceeds the minimum standard broadcast requirement and the download - blazing. And I have been expermenting with different microphone input sources and have found the best compromise.
When we move to our new building things will have to change, but change is good. I can see a new camera, new audio feed, new computers and a new (higher) speed commercial broadband connection with high def capability.

Growing Church
You are probably aware that we have been seeking to either expand our current building or purchase a new facility. Building a new facility is an option we would rather not undertake at this point in time. The current state of governmental red tape is the main reason; it takes between 12 and 18 months to get everything through the bureaucracy before even thinking about a groundbreaking. Fortunately for us, there are two church building for sale in the local area.
We were able to see the one of them yesterday. This one is closest to us, and on a "major" highway, and only about one mile from our current location. It has 6147 square feet.
