It's Ours

The building is ours. Some of the Mighty Men of Valor started working on it last night.

NEW BUILDING

Front on east Bay Blvd

     God is really moving! A new building for our rapidly growing church. We have an accepted offer and the bank is moving forward with our loan.

     We are excited. This building is located on the corner of East Bay Blvd and Avenida De Sol, containing over 7,700 square feet of indoor space. Currently it is separated into 4 main areas. The largest is 3,150+ that will probably be the sanctuary. Another is 1,250 and two (upstairs & downstairs) 1,300+ office areas.

    Ther may be some people having negative things to say about an old industrial building, but you must have vision, vision to see what can be done. With God on your side, who can be against you? 

     It will be hard work, but we are not afraid of that. In the end this will be a a glorious place.

Legacy Youth Camp

Most of the church went to Legacy Youth Camp that was held at the Baptist Convention Center in Norman Park, GA. Key speakers were Rev. Daniel McKillop and Rev. Sam Ham. Both of these Mighty Men of Valour were nothening less than phenominal. You can listen to the audio recordings by clicking this link: Audio Files. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

To be sure, the title is an old Clint Eastwood movie; but actually I am talking about You Tube. It has the good, the bad and the ugly, i cannot be the judge of your morality - only God can be the judge. I do know what I perceive to be good.

One time we were directed by You Tube to take down Pastor Appreciation 2011 because a German company claimed to have the copyright. I took it down, now its back and I didn't even put it back up. The Lord knows what is right!

Web Site Updates

The church web site is slowly being updated. All audio sermons have been uploaded to the host and a new Youth Page has been developed and submitted. Since the host was "closed" for Christmas and New Years there is a backlog of updates that I have no control over. Rest assured they are working on getting the updates on-line.

We recently had a leadership meeting that have also resulted in web page updates for the various ministries. Those leaders are working to finalize their own pages for submission.

May the Lord, Jesus continue to bless everyone.

New Building

ALC of Navarre is still seeking a new facility. All the photos of the different buildings we have looked at have been acceptable. The newer building on HWY 87  -  our offer was rejected by the bank. There was another offer, with the same price, but an earlier closing date that the bank accepted over our offer. It is kind of weird that the closing should have taken place a long time ago, and the building is still empty. In the meantime,  we have purchased the vacant lot next to our current building. We have had it cleared and it's sort of a multi-use open space for now.
